  1. yes, for example, a lot of people in europe have a better alcohol tolerance than asia. that's because in europe people used alcohol (ex, beer) to get rid of bacteria in water. But in asia people used boiling (ex, tea) to get rid of the bacteria. So people in europe have adapted more to alcohol than those in asia. Of course it's not true with every single person, but pretty much true as a general population.

my dad, who's of german/scottish descent, can drink alcohol without a problem (although he hates the taste). My mom, who is of chinese descent, has a bad reaction to alcohol that makes her have a high pulse rate, have fever,  and become dizzy.

  2. It depends on a lot of things, but gentics is a reason if you can or can't drink.  My mum and Dad can both drink and so can I at 14 but I have a friend whos mum and dad cant drink and one time, at my house, he had half a pint of cider and was pissed out of his mind.  It also depends on your size, if you are 6 foot 2 and 16 stone, you can take more alcohol than someone that is 5 foot 6 and 9 stone.

  3. YES

But no conclusive research has been conducted as of yet to confirm this very popular theory.
