  1. PLZ..... I'm 12159 Berlin-Schöneberg.....

  2. Wulf, I can guess why you got thumbs down, because we don't write the house number in front of the street name.

  3. YES. They are called PLZ or Postleitzahlen in German, have five-digits and the first digit tells you the general area (north, south, west, etc).

  4. Yes, we have five-digit codes that are placed in front of the town name, and they're digits only, no letters. Street address numbers are placed BEHIND the street name. A typical German address would be:

    Max Mustermann

    Musterstraße 123

    12345 Musterstadt

    Germany

  5. yes, most certainly do.

  6. Yes.

  7. Yes.

Example of one..  99423 which is Weimar.

Only they write it on a letter differently than we do here in the USA.

    They would write:

    John Doe

    14 Asbach Strasse #4

    99423, Weimar DE

    In the US it is

    John Doe

    14 Asbach Street #4

    Weimar, Germany 99423

    Make sense?

(Who's the nerd that thumbed us down, we are all correct!! a*******h!) =] Can' say it in English hee hee.

  8. Yes, I do believe so.

  9. Germany invented the ZIP code.
