Does getting a job affect your financial aid for school?

my brother is going to ucr and he has some financial aids but he still has to pay a lot,so he is thinking about getting a job to help pay for the rest. will that new job affect his financial aid?

It wouldn't for the current Year.  But after you make so much money you can't get Finical Aid.  So if he tried to apply again, and is making to much money then he wouldn't get it.
