  1. anywhere near your bone is going to hurt as well as sensitive areas like the underside of your arm.  I would recommend getting it on your shoulder though cause I think the lower back is just way to overdone

  2. it hurts less on the lower back, but i don't recommend it. Women who receive a tattoo there are labeled as a "s**t" or "w***e". Don't believe me? look it up. they call it a tramp stamp. If you prefer one near that area, why not go for the area on the side of it? The sides of your stomach. Those would look nice. i have a tattoo on my shoulder blades.

  3. All tattoos hurt. end of story. However, I found that my least painful tattoo was across my shoulder blades. I have shoulder blades a half back piece that covers my lower back, both feet, ribs, wrist and my calves tattooed.

  4. owww. ive heard bone is the most painful place to tat over.  try your upper arm first

  5. Fleshy parts hurt less while nerves and bone hurt more. Also it depends on the detail and size of the tattoo your getting. If your going to be getting inked for more than an hour your skin will get irritated and it will hurt more to get little details and shading in. Also it depends on your willpower. A nontrash,y unique and good looking tattoo would be worth the pain.

  6. The skin's a little tougher on your shoulder blades. It'll hurt a little less there. But if you get a lower back tattoo, tell the artist you want it to fit the contour of your body. Then it'll look s**y, and awesome. Which is the idea. Oh, and kudos for not using the geek term for it... tramp stamp. Enjoy your new ink!

  7. Anywhere on bone seems to hurt the most fleshy parts don't seem to hurt so much ..but even still its like a bad sunburn and nothing to worry about
