Does getting hair in your eyes make you lose your eyesight?

I grew my hair out long and its starting to block some of my vision, does having my hair blocking my vision make me lose my eyesight over time?

Only if you stare, diffuse, squint, or strain because of it. These are incorrect vision habits that squeeze our eyes out of shape and give us blurry vision. I have student who blurred her vision in one eye because she read with her head on her pillow and one eye was partially blocked.

The brain doesn't like one eye's picture being different for too long.

No, having your hair hang in your eyes will not affect your vision however it may have the potential to make you look like a dork for walking around with hair in your eyes.
