  1. they should just dissolve...thats weird that you have to get them taken out? are u sure?

  2. If you have to have them removed (a lot of times they do use the ones that dissolve), you should only feel a brief sting as each one is removed, sort of like getting a hair pulled by fabric for a second.  Good luck.

  3. everybody is different

but i have had 7 different surgeries done on my teeth (i have this one really crazy tooth) and when the doctor removes the stitches it never really hurts and if it does it is very brief

it helps to close your eyes though, it will make you less nervous since you wont actually see what is going in your mouth

    haha

    GOOD LUCK!!!!

  4. NO it doesn't hurt at all.  I just had mine pulled in December and (I know it sounds bad) but I had it done out of state and didn't want to pay to have the stiches removed by a dentist here (was gonna cost another $250) so I did it my self had my mom help a little too but I mean I'm a 22 year girl and it didn't hurt at all taking them out.

  5. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, I had stitches...and man did they hurt.  My jaws were swollen and the stitches pulled terrible when I tried to open my mouth.  When I finally got the stitches out, it did sting just a little when they were pulled out, but it felt a lot better after I got them out.  I was able to open my mouth a little easier.  I was glad to have them out.

Don't sweat getting the stitches out, it is fast and doesn't hurt that much - just a little sting when they are pulled out.  I feel for you, I didn't like having my wisdom teeth pulled.  They were impacted and had to be shattered below the gum line.
