Does getting your navel repierced hurt?

i got my navel pierced but i had a stainless steel ring... i didn't know stainless steel had nickel in it which i'm allergic to. i want to get it redone but i'm afraid it will hurt to bad...

Of course it hurts - don't you remember the first time you did it?  It's going to hurt just as bad the second time!  Make sure they use something nickel free, or better yet just go with gold.

my cousin got hers redone and she said it hurts more cause of the scar tissue

It is a best idea to avoid piercing .
