it didn't hurt, really. i could hear the needle coming through my tongue, which grossed me out. but it wasn't too painful.

if you are worried about the pain, some piercers offer a numbing spray. i never got one, but my friend recently got her tongue pierced and they sprayed a numbing spray on her, and she said she didn't feel a thing.

No, getting your tongue pierced doesn't really hurt.  The days following it when it's all swollen do.  It's not unbearable though.

i had my tongue pierced and it did not hurt it was after when my tongue swelled up but not a lot .

the piercing does not but the healing is fairly painful, but i would still recomend it!  dont be scared, just do it

Personally, I didn't think it hurt at all -and I am a total candy#ss when it comes to pain!!!

To me, it felt like pressure -more like it was being squeezed.  The best way I can describe it is as if you were to stick your tongue all the way out and squeeze it where the piercing would be administered as hard as you can between your finger and thumb (not using your nails).  Go on, you know you want to try it!

After it was done, my tongue was a little tender and swollen for the first 24 hours or so, but there was barely any blood, and I was eating normal food the same night it was done.  However, until it was healed, I had to swish Listerine every hour I was awake (a minimum of 12 times daily), and after eating or drinking anything other than water.  Smoking, French kissing, and oral s*x is not recommended until it has fully healed.

no! not to me

I got my tongue pierced when i was 11 or 12. What hurts is trying to eat the first couple of days. They put a clamp on your tongue to numb it but it feels like a pinch and sting.  what is annoying is the up keep as washing out your mouth after you eat and so on and so forth.

that's why i took mine out after 2 or 3 days.  it was so annoying.

If they don't give you a painkiller, yes. If they do, then I don't know cuz i never got one.

Ive had mine done...it hurts but i gurantee you it doesnt hurt as bad as you are pysching yourself out for it too.Ive got my eyebrow done too. The thing that hurt most about my tongue was the clamps the use to grab your tongue. Its gonna be hard to eat cuz you'll have to get use to it again.
