so it was it was early in the morning aroung 1:00 A.M. and I heard my dogs barking(not any ordinary type of barking). So I went outside to check out what was wrong with both of them, it turned out to be that they were barking at a toad. They started to drool alot, stared to act very weird, also alot of foam started comming out the mouths. So I immediatedly grabbed both of them I chained the big dog which is a pit bull and caged the lil one which is a chihuahua. I ran inside the house and grabbed some milk and gave it to both, after they drank it they seemed a lil better. I also rinsed their mouths with water. I just wanted to know if the milk will harm them cus I did some research after the accident and it read to not feed them milk. I WILL REALLY APRECIATE IT THANK YOU...

  1. it is ok...please do not worry...all is well..

  2. When a dog gets toxin from a toad in its mouth you should wipe their mouths with a wet rag (or a running hose) continuously for 15-20 minutes but make sure or at least try to not let them swallow the water..then if they are still drooling, foaming, or even starts to collapse take them to the vet immediately. You don't NEED to give them milk and it's probably not an overly good idea because then there is a possibility that they may swallow some of the toxins from the toad. Keep an eye on them and if they are still salivating, off to the vet you go.
