  1. No, Bush is the sole cause of aids.  Everything else was caused by global warming though.  /sarcasm off.


  2. Aids is suspected to be a laboratory made disease to combat population growth ,or depopulate (the poor) densely populated regions in Africa.there are several others as well.

  4. Yes.  The warm weather causes people to were less clothes, that makes people more excited, which causes people to have more unprotected s*x, which causes aids.  Statistically, Africa is warmer and has more cases of aids.  What more proof do people want.

  9. Global warming is said to cause more diseases, however AIDS is an STD so that can not be spread due to warmer weather like Malaria.  It is said that mosquito populations will rise in the warmer weather and in Africa they carry Malaria, so in that sense diseases can spread.

  13. no...aids is a virus.And can not be blamed on hot weather despite what any other answers say.It can be caught in a few ways...as a sdt (sexualy transmited disease),you can be born with it if your mother is infected,thoudh infected neadles and through througha cut in your blood vesels.

  17. I'm no expert but I'd think that although global warming doesn't directly "cause" AIDS, it will probably affect the discovery of its cure, through its effect on species extinction. Many of our cures, manufactured or not, are either directly inspired or come from natural sources (plants and animals). So by accelerating species extinction tremendously, global warming can affect AIDS spreading by making its cure less likely.

    First, elevated temperatures ensure the spreading of bacteria, viruses and insects, by speeding up their development and enabling them to evolve in areas in which they couldn't previously live. The vulnerable species unable to adapt to these elevated temperatures, new diseases and the loss of food coming from competing insects will surely perish (survival of the fittest - See "Invasive Species Drive Biodiversity Loss")

    Second, the man-made response to global warming accelerates this trend. Increase in biofuels crops doesn't only mean higher food prices (See "The cost of food: Facts and figures"), it also means biodiversity loss the way it's (improperly) done today (See "Biodiversity 'fundamental' to economics" and "The Big, the Bad and the Biofuels")

    Third, I may be going on a limb here but since less food caused by loss of plant efficiency and species extinction leads to higher food prices, and in turn higher food prices hikes up all prices, it's easy to see that people will be poorer in the future. And I'm not sure why, but AIDS seems to hit poor people more than rich people...
