Does glucose react with Hydrochloric Acid or Sodium Hydroxide?

If it does, are there any acids and bases that do not react with glucose?

Glucose goes back and fourth between a cyclic structure and a linear structure depending on pH. Off the top of my head I would think that maybe only extreemly weak acids and bases might have little or no effect but none that I can think of right now
