  1. NO god doesnt exist

    define "god"

  2. Yes, god does exist. Science explains how oh the big bang created the universe and man evovled from monkeys (that which I find hard to believe) but science does nothing to explain how the events that caused the big bang were created or life ever spawned on this planet. When one thinks of this gap in knowledge it is easly assumable that god does infact exist.

  3. Yes, He does. (this is something I definitely believe with all my heart)  :)

    God bless...

  4. It's not the most imporant question ever.

I think God is as real as you want co to be.

  5. Yes.

The big bang proves a beginning of the universe.

Everything that begins to exist must have a cause.

The first cause must be uncaused, eternal, timeless/outside of time.

    I call that cause God.

The existence of absolute morals - cannot be argued (logically) from evolution.

If morality is the result of chemical reactions in the brain then they must necessarily be subjective.

  6. There is only one way for this question to be answered and that is for each one to test for themselves a method that will either allow for His existence to be proved or disproved by ones own involvement in a personal discovery of such.

There is my short answer. Here is a link that explains more about such a method if you are interested. Thanks for a great question and I agree, it is a very important one! Best wishes!

  7. Yes, God does exist.

I cannot condense several decades of study into a few paragraphs, so I will say that the Baha'i Faith is the proof that Atheists say does not exist. All religions got their inspiration from one God and it is finally time for world peace. If God does not exist, how would you explain literally thousands of prophecies from thousand of years ago and every religion fitting together like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and all fulfilled in the Baha'i Faith? There are many, many others areas I could point to also, but is that not enough to make you wonder enough to question and investigate?

  8. No

    No

  9. If this is the most important question ever, you should be willing to look into it a little deeper.

No one knows if God exists; that is why they argue about it.

  10. yes

  11. I don't know, and nobody knows. Some people BELIEVES he exists, and some people thinks he doesn't.... but nobody knows for sure.

  12. yes, I believe he does

  13. No, I am certain there is no god.

  14. Yes.  I used to be an agnostic.  Believe me--I wasn't looking for God at all.  But evidently He was looking for me.

  15. uhhh, yes.

  16. no one on this planet can prove the answer to this question. its just personal belief at the end of the day, i have my reason for believing where an atheist would put it down to luck

    christian

  17. No proof. No god

  18. No I don't believe a god exists.

Obviously it's impossible to prove a negative but there is no evidence for god.  God would also complicate things unnecessarily.  In other words, the world makes far more sense without one as far as we can tell with current knowledge.

There is also a lack of evidence that you would expect to be there if many of the religions of the world were true so most perceptions of god can be disproved very easily.

PS:  As an answer to GLY, his assumption that morality is absolute does not fit with evidence.  It's just wishful thinking that everyone should agree with him because subjective morality, while true, is an uncomfortable concept to many.

  19. No and no. Also, the foolish deniers who ooze out with "Of course he does, look around you"betray their willful ignorance of both science and nature.

Looking all around us shows life, and a planet. Both are 100% explainable without any supernatural means, and, in fact, adding supernatural means makes the whole explanation more difficult, and thus, contains many self contradictions that doom that attempt at an answer.

The more we learn about life, our world, and the Universe, the more we find that fictional sky pixies offer NOTHING to anything at all.

Rational knowledge always beats superstitious fiction. That seems like an easy thing to say, but billions have died to make it possible to say it.

  20. of coarse he does, look around you.

  21. hehe i do have a big essay but ill only share if someone wants it.

yup. b/c otherwise there would be no real purpose to life. but really no good reason to live. or no life i guess, technically.

  22. Yes.
