Yep. Guys also. I know a guy who doesn't drink at all but he says that hes gonna drink and everything in college just because "everyone else is doing it" and he wants to fit in. I'm sure many girls think the exact same way. Girls are crazy lol.

If a person is an adult, their tendencies toward such experimentation are set already.

The process of going away to college is all tied in with the process of a child becoming an adult.  Statistics are meaningless in that regard.
