Does government really exist?

Question

I mean we apparently own something they call government and have a bunch of jobsworths working for us, so its no point asking them.

But what bits are serviceable for us at a reasonable rate?

And what are we allowed to have done or indeed allowed to do for this over priced service?

I think they empty the bins.

you definitely have a point there - if we weren't paying the so-called government their salaries we'd have a lot more to spend on school, nhs etc - maybe we should eradicate them

Yes government does exist, to prove it, stop paying your taxes, or empty all your garbage in the street. You will soon hear from a government official threatening you with some action.

Really the whole system has to change to make it better; because you might get one service working at a reasonable rate then another service is haemorrhaging money.

But I guess it's better than most, there are million of people who couldn't even afford a bin let alone the waste to put in it.

I am not sure which country you are in but, in the UK we pay a bunch of money grabbers for nothing. Our laws are now made in Brussels by an unelected Quango.

Not as it should be. Government is supposed to be run by congress but congress would rather let the judicial system to make the laws. Congress can be kicked out of office at the next election but the activist judges can't. So congress just has to make sure the judges approved reflect their views and everyone wins - except the public.

Ha,Ha, havn't you twigged on yet? governments are only there to make us believe we have 'choice', but it's just an illusion, and the NHS was formed for the Big Pharma companies so they could off-load their drugs and rubbish, and make huge profit, most of todays health problems are man made, it's a great big rip-off.
