My grade 11 marks are really bad compared to grade 9 and 10. Will universities refuse to accept you, even though you do very well again in grade 12?

  1. sorry to break it to you but in order of importance of grades based on year

    it goes:

    11, 10, 9, 12

  2. It's "'Do' grade 11 marks matter?" Not "Does!"

All of your grades will count, as well as involvement in your community, after school activities, SAT Scores, etc. If you had a rough time in your personal life or such, and that is why your eleventh grade marks are so low, you may have a chance to explain yourself and what you did to overcome the problem and bounce back with better grades in your senior year. You can write about this in your college application letters or through a personal interview with an admissions counselor.

  3. i'm constantly told that all years matter but the one that matters most is senior year. all grade marks matter, but universities usually look towards grades 11 and 12. they see if you have improved because usually freshman and sophomore year, kids just get lazy. they want the kids who won't slack off at college and they mainly look at sat and act scores now.

  4. grade 11 and 12 both are looked at by admissions to see whether you will be accepted to their school or not. Schools have a right to not accept you to their schools for getting low marks..remember that...

  5. no they wont refuse to accept you
