Does greek tourist need visa to US from Canada ? If no can he travel to US on his own car ?

The guy is from Greece, he wants to travel to US on his own car, does he need to apply for a visa at the US embassy, or they will give him visa on the boarder, when entering States? Can he travel on his car? He has a Canadian driver's license - G2 category

  1. normaly european citizens don´t need visa.

    with the passport is enough.

    but you better check on inmigration web site


  2. Greeks still need visas, although they are being seriously considered for Visa Waiver as well. He should be able to travel in his own car though. He should check on his insurance though to make sure he's still covered while in the US.He could apply at any of the US consulates or the US embassy in Canada. Check out usembassy,state.gov for their websites and more info on how to apply.

Your question is confusing.  If he is a Greek tourist, how does he have his own car and a Canadian license?  If he has overstayed his time in Canada illegally, he will not be given a visa.  Otherwise, he will need to show that he will leave the US at the end of his stay.  Anyway, Greece is not a participant in the Visa Waiver Program and so he must get a US visa before he travels to the US.
