  1. No caffeine in green tea.

  2. there isnt enough in it to keep you up that long but now isn't the best time to drink it if you want to sleep because it has about as much as half a cup of coffee

  3. Green tea is loaded with caffeine, unless you get a caffeine free one.

Also according to my japanese professor you can get high if you drink too much real green tea. That happened to a classmate and me when we were on a exchange program in Japan. It is not all green teas, but from many common green teas.

  4. Unless the pack specifically states that it's de-caffeinated, green tea does have caffeine in it.

  5. no it shouldn't have any. unless it has other ingredients

  6. I think not, it will just cleanse your body .  If you drink it before you go the bed , you might go to the toilet a few times.

  7. Caffeine is part of chimistry of tea leavs .However since it is not backed its contenst are less as compared to black tea.

  8. Yes! Yes, it does!  I work at Starbucks; trust me on this.  All tea has caffeine.  The only exception being herbal teas because they aren't actually made with leaves from the actual tea plant; instead they are made from things like flower petals, spearmint, lemongrass, ginger.... the like.  So yes, green tea leaves come off an actual tea plant and thus have caffeine - not enough to keep you up late though.  Just don't drink a whole lot of it. -_^

  9. it has about half the amount of regular black tea.   Regular tea has about 50 mg per cup.  Green tea has 20-25 mg per cup.

It's not very much plus it has a mellowing effect which may or may not keep you up at night.  People are different and respond to caffeine in different ways.
