Studies have claimed that those who drank green tea burnt calories faster that those given only caffeine.  But in addition to that benefit, it's also claimed that green tea is a powerful anti-oxident, so can therefore be beneficial to general health. As with all things though, don't overdo your intake - 4 or 5 cups each day at most.


  2. Yes!  I've been drinking the diet tea from http://myultragreentea.com and it has definitely given me added energy and metabolism!  It's crazy but it works...

  4. It has caffeine in it, which increases the fatty acids circulating, but the jury's out on whether it encourages oxidation of those fatty acids as well. Most average people will say yes, but if you read the medical articles, they seem inconclusive.
