Does green tea make you want to pee alot?

Um yeah i just drinked like 16 ozof it and now its making me wanna pee.

why is that?

  1. Yes, all teas are diuretics. The caffeine has a mild diuretic effect, but since green tea contains less caffeine than black tea and coffee, the effect is weaker than in those brews.
