  1. no.  stress does by signaling the body to release the stress hormone cortisol


  2. If anything, it would be good for weight loss.  Research shows that depressed people are more likely to gain weight than people who aren't.  I think being happy and healthy go hand in hand.  

  3. yes, you have to hate yourself to be skinny. get going.

  4. depends on what the source of happiness is. if its happiness with a partner, than it possibly could. you feel comfortable with that person so you dont watch what you eat or your weight. when youre happy with your friends, everyone eats and drinks whatever because everyone is having a good time. if you make a food connection between food and happiness, you will probably eat alot of that food, which most of the time is junk.
