Does having a dream about a Baby mean anything?

Last night I had a dream about a baby. I don't have any kids,..I'm 21.

Anywho , in my dream my boyfirend and I had a baby girl...I would say she was maybe 1 or 2. It seemed like I was in a hospital or doctors office, because she had cords attached to her. So she seemed like she may have been sick. I was holding her infront of me, standing her on my legs..just admiring her. She was just laughing and smiling. And I remember thinking in the dream..."I wish David was here" (my boyfriend). Anyways what do dreams about babys mean? Is there any kind of meaning to this? Thanks.

Think of some of your daily life projects or undertakings.  Do they need some kind of 'shot in the arm'?  This is something you like to do and its new (hence the baby) but your having a hard time getting it to 'grow' so there are cords ( friends that can help?) to assit you.

Christine, To me it means you want to have a child but you are really not sure what your significant other feels about it.  the cords you describe perhaps mean that your decision to have a baby has not really been decided.  The fact that the umbilical cord was still attached to a child that old means that you are not ready to make a decision yourself. Are you pregnant? If you are, please do not have an abortion.
