  1. Land Rover at a cheep price! I know why gas milage is horrable. That SUV please look at the weight of that truck. I bet it weighs 3 tons or more and is either powered by a 4.3 liter V-8 motor or a Jaguar 4.6 liter V-8. either way expect less than 10 MPG in town gas milage and only 14 MPG highway. Boxy tall trucks dont make good gas milage add V-8 motor and 3 ton weigh to haul around there you have it. Then you have to pay for that truck and insure it too? Buy a Small economical Toyota Camery or a Corolla. Or a Nissan Sentra or Altima. I bet you will be better off.

  2. Of course cars with higher value make insurance increase.  B/C if your car is totalled they will have to pay out more then if you had an old beat up 95 Civic.  Doesnt that make sense?

  3. Yes

  4. The short answer is, it depends if you are getting comprehensive insurance on it or not.

If you get liability only then you can drive a Rolls Royce and it won't make any difference since if it gets stolen or broken they are NOT covering it so they don't have to charge you much as they will only cover you if you do damage to OTHERS.

Shame on some of these answerers spreading missinformation.

  5. For the most part, yes cars that are expensive to buy are also more expensive to insure.  There are many variables though so you can't always go just  by the value of the vehicle

  6. of coures it does your insurence cost is based on the value of your car.

  7. It depends on the insurer and the type of insurance you are going for. Getting quotes is free, so why ask the yahooers, get straight to the quoting sites like this one

  8. it depnds on the type of car... if u hav a sports car u insurance will be high... the more safety features u have on your car the lesser the insurance will be...

  9. Of course insurance will be higher. If you crash it the vehicles worth more so your insurance claim would be more, so therefore there going to charge you more for insurance. Plus parts for a higher end vehicle are more expensive to.So anything that goes wrong with the car is going to cost you alot more then if you just bought a normal car.
