  1. it does but its not noticeable since the system adds weight its like have a 10 year old kid in the car with you so it wont actually make u spend extra on gas

    depends on the power consumption

    I noticed a big difference back in my competition days, the gas mileage of the Honda I used dropped severely.

    The weight added a decrease as well as the extra power drain.

    This was with three alternators and 5 batteries.. Pushing over 7,000 watts

    an average system would have little effect, more like a decimal difference

  3. Has very little effect.  Suffer from added weight, but thats about it.  I've monitored fuel economy on my car pre-system, post-system.  The numbers haven't changed and my driving habits (agressive) have remained the same throughout.

  4. it shouldn't, unless your system weighs like 1000 pounds, just stay away from homemade boxes that are oversized they are real heavy.

  5. no it will just add extra weight
