Does having a tooth pulled out at the dentist hurt?

im soooooooo scared because well im 14 years old and i still have some baby teeth left....

i have to pull out like 3

and 2 of them do not have a long root that go inside your gum but the other one does

im so nervous!!!!

don't worry!

I've had my fair share of teeth being pulled out.

Basically they numb it so you don;t feel the pain, it's true- you won;t feel the pain, you'll just get the feeling off them being taken out which is slightly uncomfortable, but nothing to worry about.

Keep in mind that what you are about to do, is going to be good for your oral health in the long run- you'll be glad you did it when it's all said and done.

Well it doesn't feel wonderful. Haha..

But don't be scared. I've had 12 teeth pulled, and was fine with all of them. I had 3 pulled out all at the same time, 2 with huge long roots, and I was fine.

They will freeze you, where they use a needle, and that part will pinch a little. And then they will pull the tooth, which is a weird pressure feeling.

It does feel uncomfortable, but it's nothing that you won't be able to handle.

Its more scary than it actualy is ... the only thing that kinds hurts is the numb injection, it just has a wierd feeling and you will feel them taking out the tooth but no pain.

It ain't nothing trust me , i had my molar tooth and wisdom tooth pulled all in the same week , all you feel is them numbing you which is like a bee sting and you feel alittle pressure , thats it , and it doesnt hurt that bad afterwards either , you will be ok!! Good luck

well,they might numb it with this shot which kinda hurts,i have to get a bby tooth pulled out this week cuz my braces grrrr i hate the shot

they'll probably numb you. the shot pinches then burns briefly but its not that bad. ask for laughing gas too. it'll help relax you

The Novocaine shot hurts more than actually getting the tooth pulled.
