  1. Affair is not only used to describe cheating but may also describe part of an agreement referred to as open marriage, which sanctions some extramarital affairs and not others. When one of the non-sanctioned affairs occurs it is described as infidelity and often experienced as a betrayal both of trust and integrity.

Affairs are sometimes accompanied by scandal. When used in this context, "affair" usually implies sexual impropriety, but that is not necessarily the case.

However, an emotional affair can be as devastating for the one who is excluded or betrayed by it as if a full sexual liaison had occurred.

The linkage of s*x and romance with affair provides the basis for entertainment in advertising, art, literature, film, plays and in TV soaps. It can fuel crusades against monogamy or promoting the value of monogamy.

  2. No, it really is not worth bothering. Excitement or not it always leaves you with a bad taste in the mouth

  3. I am 45 yrs old and deceit has never made anything any better for me.If you like drama its exciting.

  4. h**l i'd have an affair interested lol.

  5. No! It's the worse thing ever! I've been on both ends of an affair and it's always bad! The excitement is bad too. If you wanna move on then just do it, then start something else. Or if you wanna be with someone, make them move on first, or just forget about them. Trust me, you'll feel horrible and nothing you can do will ever fix it.

  6. h**l NO!

I wouldn't be able to live with myself, I made a vow to my husband and intend to keep it.

It's not big nor clever to even suggest otherwise.

If you're asking because you're thinking of doing it: DON'T!!  It will only end in tears, seriously!!

  7. I'm in the middle of one and it always keeps me guessing, and yes there are some excitement at times but at there are fears like how long will we be able to keep this up and what's the development here, is he gonna finally leave her, sometimes I don't know why I got involved in the first place, oh yeah there's excitement.

  8. most of the time yes. the rush of almost getting caught

  9. maybe..sometimes i stalk random people because i want to feel some excitement but i would have to feel better first

i don't think its good to have an affair coz it means you are unhaappyy with person you are supposedly with so why don't you just teelll them instead of just keep it goin on n on behind their backs....anyway i'm young n don't plan on marriage or affairs so yeah

i didn't even think they happedned in real life coz you always see them on the soaps SO ****** STUPID I DON#T WAHTCHOFHLSKFB  them

  10. 'an affair'....; you mean marital infidelity. If you're not going to remain faithful, why get married? Someone is going to get hurt, so no, it's not 'good excitement'.

  11. No thanks, I have been married for 34 years and don't need the drama. It would destroy my marriage and that's the most important thing in my life other then my son.

It is not exciting to do something hurtful to another human.

  12. No never have. I believe in monogamy.

For most of us would create horrid guilt.
