Are dreams affected by what we hear? Are we then left to our own memories, thoughts, etc. if we sleep in quiet?

  1. I know that when I fall asleep with the TV on, I'm in and out of rem sleep more and if I wake to find I've left the TV on, I recognize that I couldn't distinguish between the dreams I was having and some of what I was hearing on the TV. I do know that I am much more tired in the morning. And I've had much more lucid dreams when sleeping undisturb.

  2. I think that if you sleep with the television on and the sound waves get to your ears you will actually start dreaming of other people talking in your dreams. But thats just what I think.

Also, to dream that you are watching television, represents your brain, mind and its flowing thoughts. It shows how you are receiving, integrating, and expressing your ideas/thoughts. The programs you dream of watching is an objective view of the things that are in your mind.

FACT: If you are snoring, then you cannot be dreaming.

    Sorry if I didn't help.

  3. Try not to sleep with the tv on. You will get a clearer dream.

  4. Have you never messed with someones dream while they were asleep?

Dreams are affected by all things around you.

  5. It does mine sometimes. Usually if it's too loud. But not frequently. I sleep with the tv on every night.
