will both glands become infected? or just 1?

  1. Both, probably. My sister had it, shine a light to see how big they are. ou should see a doctor, but it just goes away, if it keeps happening I suggest getting them removed.


  2. well I had tonsillitis and they got so swollen that I had to get them removed because they were blocking my air path. it's both

Tonsillitis is a condition by which the tonsil or tonsils become swollen.  They don't necessarily become infected.  You have three sets in your upper airways starting at the base of the tongue and going up into the posterior nasal pharynx.  The lingual tonsils at the base of the tongue are the ones that can give a person the most difficulties as when they swell they can cause issues with swallowing and if they become very large can occlude the airway.  Your best bet is to discuss this with your personal physician.  If this is a recurring problem perhaps you need to see an ENT for further evaluation.
