  1. heaver gloves will slow you down but they will hurt more when they hit also they will make you faster after you take the gloves off (all of this will not be that noticable because gloves are so light unless you get really heavy gloves)

  2. Wearing heavier gloves during training and spars will increase your hand speed, as when you apply your old/light gloves, your arms will become used to moving more weight and will attempt to maintain it's old acceleration and speed, when you feel like you can punch faster than you could before in your new/ heavy gloves then your arms are producing more power and therefore hand acceleration will be increased, allowing your hands to reach a higher speed.

  3. look like it

  4. No

  5. they help build strength in your biceps.  while not necessarily adding speed due to weight, they help you adjust to carrying the gloves which increases stamina and strength if you get used to them.  The question is what boxer doesn't want to be stronger?

  6. yes because your hands will get used to the heavier gloves and then when u use normal weight, it'll feel like u got nothing on your hands.

  7. yes

  8. more weight will slow thw punch down but they can creat a harder hit if you got the muscles to swing em continuslly

  9. Sure why not.

If you hold weights or wrist weights and do punches it will add strength hence speed too with practice so sure why not if they are heavier it just may take longer than wrist weights.
