  2. Of course......when a bone has a higher bone density, the bone is less likely to break. This is because, the bone with the higher or greater density contains more calcium in the bone marrow then, the bone less  density. Basically calcium plays a major role in the makeup of high density in bones. Thus, the more calcium inside the bone, the higher the density of the bone and the bone will be less likely to break...........Hope that helped!!

  3. Yes.  Osteoporosis can be a cause for fractures.  Density = dense = strong.
