Does holding a Guinness World Record make somebody eligible for any prize money from the GWR authority?

  1. I believe that they receive a small amount, and sign a contract with GWR so that they can not be sued by the individual later, by inferring that they never gave GWR the right to publish their name, or the feat they accomplished to set the record.
