Does honey become toxic when added to tea? ?

I've heard it becomes toxic when heated but is hot tea enough to cause it to become toxic? I've been adding honey instead of sugar to my tea and my friend says it becomes poisonous! Is this true?

It is proven that heating honey changes its structure and makes it toxic, but you'd have to eat gallons of it for it to do you any harm.

So, putting honey in hot water is absolutely safe and delicious.
