  1. Hoodia supposedly only supresses your appetite, but it depends on the person and it doesn't work for everyone.

If you want a specific appetite supressant, then eat more fiber!!  It will keep you feeling full and its good for you!  Try psyllium seeds/husks (metamucil) or flax seeds.

There really are no magic pills for weight loss, no matter what they tell you.  Just eat fewer portions and more fiber.  Drink more water.  No pill can do much, believe you me!!

  2. It's your healthy lifestyle and your will power that will help you

    lose weight.

This report mentions studies about hoodia and how hoodia

    works.

  3. It doesn't work and can be damaging to your body. I don't recommend hoodia at all. For many it doesn't really suppress hunger and it does nothing for fat. A trick to suppress the appetite that I once read (that i doubt too but then again) is to let it pass. According to some studies the craving for food is mostly smells and the sight. After about fifteen minutes the cravings should pass. I also try and chew on gum or keep hard candy handy to help suppress my appetite. Especially when I know I won't be able to eat for long periods of time.
