I am a constant worrier about every little thing. There is nothing I can do to rest my mind except horse riding. When I am riding the whole world just disapears and I am completely happy and worry free. Does anyone else feel this way when they are riding?

  1. yer if its a pleasure ride, you jus forget about everything and focus on ur riding

  2. I do!!!..When I am riding I don't feel any negativeness anywhere..I feel so so free and so care free I almost feel like I am flying through positivity!!....(slight exaggeration)..

  3. definately. the world for that moment in time seems soo serine. its a feeling like no other. horses are the most forgiving creature on the earth and i think we all could take up from that. horses have the abiltiy to teach us to love, they have a soul healing prescents. horses.

  4. Oh, course!

i feel most horses have patents and they listen to what we are saying.

They make people feel better. They are beautiful and loving. Just to watch them in their field makes me feel better.

I was so mad about might having to move, so i went to the stable and got on my horse and felt a lot better. Makes me feel free and yes, worry free. So, any one who really loves horses feel the way we do.

  5. that's why i love riding horses.  nothing can hurt you and you can forget all your worries.  i have a lot of stress at home so when I'm able to go on a ride it feels like all those worries are gone cause its just me and the horse, doing what we love.

whenever i get a chance i love going out on the trails and galloping (just gotta watch out for people)

Riding brings me lots of joy and whoever else rides on here, i hope it gives them joy also

  6. OMG.. YES!!! when I'm riding i just seem to block everything out and focus on what I'm doing. its just a wonderful feeling to be on the back of an animal that big. it just makes me feel good!

  7. It's been a lot of years since I have ridden, but yes, I remember that feeling. Just you & your horse. Even riding in town, everything seems to fade away. It's "all good". Complete contentment.

  8. Yes yes yes

  9. I've never rode a horse but I would like to get the opportunity some day!

  10. Yes. Sometimes. It definitely does get your mind off things.

  11. i can only ride once a week for my lessons and i feel anxious when im not at the barn riding so yeah

  12. Yep! For me, it was the only thing that got me through the past semester after my brother was killed by a drunk driver :(  It just helped me not to be sad for an hour outta my day

  13. Yes riding makes the whole world perfect. "There is nothing better for the inside of a person then the outside of a horse." -anonymous

  14. that's how it's supposed to be, you and the horse and forget the rest of the world

i show on the world championship level with my sister and the announcers are always talking about the two of us while we're showing and i never notice a single word of it, or the noise from the 15000 people crowd

i show appaloosas and we run horse against horse for the speed events, very simililar to drag racing and when i'm running head to head with my sister the crowd really cheers and roars and everything but the only way i know this is from watching the video replays, it's just me and the horse and forget the rest of the world

  15. I feel the exact same way. If I am having a bad day its best when I go and ride my horse! I especially love jumping! When school gets hard I go see my horse and he makes me happy! Not just riding them makes me happy...everything about horses makes me happy!!!<3

  17. when I'm wioth my horse everything else seems to drift away

  18. AMEN!!!  It sure does. All of my worries melt away when I'm on my horse!

  19. It definitely does! It's the one thing that makes me forget about everything else (in a good way)!

  20. Yes.

You haved just summed up my life in like 3 sentences. THANX!

When I was a kid I took lessons but it didn't work because I couldn't listen because I was in my own world on the horse.

I just love being around them and watching them and hugging them, I got my first horse when I was 6 because my dad bred shetland ponies. He was a 12.3hh Cobby type.

He gave me my life and taught me how to ride and I just loved him.

Now I have a livery farm in Scotland and love all of the horses to pieces, I have competed alot with my 19.2hh Clydesdale Samson and always come out with ribbons.

    Good Luck with horses! =]
