  1. Yes because defense wins championships and not that lovey dovey c**p in LA

  2. I dont think they will get to the Kobe-Shaq level. Yao is more diciplined than to go there. They will be fine, I know Adelman is not concerned. I still think this trade will go through.

  3. yea

  4. yeah

yao and him talk on the phone today

    there cool now

  5. I think the Rockets still want this guy even though he may have gotten into some early arguments and I think Yao's reaction is just a way to calm his attitude and make sure Artest falls into the team chemistry and does not cause them trouble during the season... even though Artest has built up some bad reputation over years by fighting with players and fans he can still be a key defensive piece to any championship team. Rockets need his contribution to go along with  Shane Battier on the defensive end of the floor and I think after all Artest would realize his opportunity with this team and put away his off-court issues!

Just like you mentioned Artest did make a remark to Yao and the team about his Ghetto background and said that nothing was going to change him... However he ended his interview sayin that this is ultimately Yao and McGrady's team and that he will follow their lead and make sure he fits the way Rick Adelman needs him. Artest also said that the brawl including was four years past and this is going to be a new day for him.

Just to calm the situation down Artest also said that he spoke to Yao about the issue and told the media that he couldn't wait to be a part of the franchise... After its all said and Done I think the Rockets will have no trouble with his addition and in fact he can put them over the next level...As much as Contenders in the West...!

  6. He was just kidding around. Apparently we still wanted T-Mac when he gave the "Its on me" speech.

  7. ya

  8. course
