  1. Only if it increases solar activity...I've found no such link thus far.

  2. You got it! That's why, as human beings, we must stop farting before we inject our children's water with the evil methane leprechauns.

I say ban flatulence- and along with it, the flatulence of cows. Charge $100 per f**t. That'll teach 'em (tsk tsk- can't even hold in their own gas).

Perhaps we could institute a cap and trade program to minimise the effects of those big farters

  4. Ha ha ha. Flatulence is so funny!  Methane, which is a component of intestinal gas is a greenhouse gas. But, climate change is about change. The worldwide human population has increased, but the overall numbers of gas-producing animals have not recently increased.

  5. Yes!  I farted into an IR gas analyzer and melted the filter lens on the CO2 detector.  Oy vey!

  6. probably such a small percentage that it isn't that noticeable.  cow's flatulence does contribute some, however.

  7. only 3.5% of the global climate change is human induced.  i highly doubt that our intestinal gas will really make a huge impact on the environment.  people worry way too much.  just in the 70s they were predicting global cooling.  i dont buy any of it.

  8. My brother's certainly does, because everyone in his flatulent vicinity has to hold their breath so long that there is a build up and excess of exhaled carbon dioxide,  I'd rather  not get a whiff of that malodorous son of a gun again, I guess I'll just stay away from him.

    "Bessy’s Stomachs

Methane is the second most significant cause of greenhouse warming, behind carbon dioxide. Bessy, the science cow, and her many brothers and sisters are one of the greatest methane emitters. Bessy’s grassy diet and multiple stomachs cause her to produce methane, which she exhales with every breath. The sheer size of her herds makes a significant contribution to global warming."

  9. Yes, and if you keep putting out more than your limit, you will have to pay a "gas tax."  Please make check to:

  10. No.  The sun contributes to global warming.
