Does humidity make your hair greasy?

I'm from California, and right now I'm in Chicago visiting my mom. I'm noticing that my hair is really greasy compared to when I'm at home. So is it the weather, or possibly the shampoo i am using?

It could be both. Do you use a lot of product in your hair? If you do try to cut back, And humidity just makes your hair frizzy and damp, but if you have product in it , that will change the texture, and possibly make it look greasy.

yes it does. it can make your roots greasy and the rest of your hair really poofy.

maybe chicago is just greasy  i live close by and my hair gets  that way to

Have you changed your hair regiment if you did there is a product that is making your hair act this way. But I live in the midwest and it is humid so that could be an issue for your hair. You will have to change your shampoo while you are there. Ask your mom what she uses.
