It depends on your definition of cool. In my opinion, people don't ignore people because they want to look cool, they do it for personal reasons. For example, if my best friend and I had an argument and she beat me up, then I'd ignore her for a day, only because she beat up, not because, "Hey, I'm ignoring my best friend, I'm cool!" That's immature.

yes, in a bad way. its like that person is asserting that theyre too cool to talk to that person and that the person they ignored is of a lower status than them. harsh, yet horribly effective.
