Here is what I don't understand. The u.s. is always looking for the best deal when doing business, particularly the u.s. government. If the u.s. goverment is losing money, it will try to adduce anything in order not to pay that money. If illegal immigration were costing the u.s. goverment so much money, wouldn't it have stopped illegals from taking advantage of u.s. benefits long ago. In what way does illegal immigration really affect u.s. citizens or legal residents?

  1. well then here the fbi is looking.so good bye!don´t u know?

  2. People are only going to give you answers from information that they find in articles, not real life situations were it affects them personally of coarse.

But as for me, with illegal immigration being the limelight of today, I have seen and experienced the increase in rudeness towards Hispanics whether it's at the local grocery store or the fast food restaurant. This is all caused by the media's one sided reports. I don't care of people don't like me because I'm Hispanic, but I feel sorry for others that don't know how to defend themselves. So much for this country being a "Free Country" and a country that's made for "You and Me".

  3. You're right. People usually just watch what they see in the news or read on the internet and believe every bad thing said about immigrants.. however, if the illegals had such a BAD effect on the United States they would have not let so many illegals stay here. Obviously since they have invented Tax ID #'s for illegals the government wants there to be a way that they can be here and work without problems. This is why both of the presidential candidates are both mentioning that that will give amnesty to some illegals. Of course there are illegals here who are in jail or using government assistence, but the ones who are just here working and not causing problems should be given a path to residency.

  4. illegal immigrant normaly work with fakes social security numbers.

the government keep the money (medicare, social security)

    from this people every paycheck.

but because they never can asked for  this money.

illegal people can´t retired, and can´t use medical benefits from medicare.

all the money is going to the US treasure.

    just make the math

    10 million illegal

putting at least 150 dollars each month

give you a billion and a half free for treasury each month

equal 18 billions dollars a year

    need to said something else?

  5. You make a good point

According to what you say, it doesn't really affect the citizens. I have the feeling, as you say, that if the illegals were receiving "free" things, the government is to blame, not the illegals

I have seen, since I came here, that the government spends the taxpayers' money as they like. Clinton spent 50 million with Aristide, the Haitian deposed president.

Granted he was a chief of state, but 50 MILLION !

    Please !

And besides, the government NEVER tells me or requests MY permission to spend MY tax dollars

If there were no illegals, they would spend the money to build a freeway to the moon or over the ocean, or....who knows what for ?

  6. they take the jobs no americans want and work for cheap low wages. Good deal

  7. Yes it affects us they don't speak English & make it harder for us plus they work for very low wages hurting our economy

  8. Yes it effects every American. Our taxes pay for services they use,our wages get lowered, crime goes way up(more citizens have been killed by illegals than in the war),prices are sky high, hospitals have went bankrupt, jobs have been lost, our education system is c**p. Illegal immigration has no positives and illegal aliens need to go.

  9. If illegal immigrants earn money in this country, they spend money in our stores. They buy our commodities. Everyone wins

When illegal immigrants are kicked out, America looses its cheap labor force, which means jobs get outsourced overseas. If jobs are outsourced overseas, the people who earn the money spend the money in those countries, instead of our stores.

Immigrant workers are a net gain for the US economy. Each year, the same immigrants spend $1.8 trillion in the US and contribute over $600 billion to the GDP.

  10. Yes, our schools and healthcare are failing, and the cost to subsidize them while our own services go down is part of what is crippling our economy.

Those who lobby government (multinational corporations and collectivist special interests) want the lowest pay and benefits for wages, world wide, and dependency of the populace on the government institutions these special interests increasingly control.

It is so NOT in the best interests of the American people to allow illegal immigration on the scale it has been allowed that this issue alone has woken up millions of people to some very fundamental problems in our government, going far beyond illegal immigration.  This is something that very clearly damages the average citizen and the scale is so large, there is no hiding it.  And there is no argument for the actions of our government in allowing this that is consistent with concern for the American citizenry.  What does benefit from illegal immigration is corporate profits and the growth of collectivist organization influence as desperate individuals increasingly ignore loss of individual rights and opportunities to cling to at least some form of collectivist input into government.  Once you search for it, it is very apparent what is happening.

They blew it on this one.

  11. Yes it does effect me, but positively, I get better bean burritos and the like.

  12. It has become an invasion of epidemic preportions affecting many areas of citizens' lives, directly and indirectly.  We, the citizens, are the government, even though the government refuses to acknowledge this little fact.  Illegals should self deport or be deported!

  13. Yes, I get so angry every time I see a crowd of illegal aliens demanding their "rights" that I could have a stroke. Illegals are trespassers at best, and invaders at worst. They cost the US govt tens of billions every year, and they send tens of billions of dollars to their home countries every year. We are winning the battle against the invasion, but if Obamaba wins, he will give amnesty to all of them.

  14. no, it doesnt. it affects us the most minimal way possible. Sure, some taxes are going to go up. But with the war in Iraq, taxes are hardly going to go down when illegal immigration ends. Let me remind everyone that rising gas prices and home foreclosures DONT have anything to do with illegal immigrants. Ive said this countless times, Americans are just looking for a scapegoat

  15. Yes it does affect me and you and every other American.  It lowers the hourly wage, it increases our insurance (both health and auto), it increases crime, it's reducing the education our children are receiving (which is pretty low as it is with the liberal education plan).  They cost each and every American a lot of money, time and energy.

  16. Yes, it affects all of us. The illegals

    - refuse to speak English

    - refuse to assimilate

    - use resources they are not entitled to

    - take jobs away from citizens

    - put a burden on the healthcare system

    - depress wages

    Need any more?

  17. It costs the US BILLIONS.  Why don't they do something about it?  Mostly because illegals work in the #1 industry in this nation - agriculture.  With the farmers and growers needing the "cheap labor", the government is on the fine line of upholding the law and not crashing the largest source of income for this nation.

As for it effecting the citizens, it does in the way of higher insurance premiums (being hit by an illegal driver, with NO INSURANCE), health insurance and medical costs (false names given at hospitals and bills not being paid - you honestly think those just disappear?  Nope - they are passed on to those of us that do pay our bills and have health insurance), and finally with illegals getting the benefits they neither are qualified for or contributed to, they are taking money and food out of the hands of the LEGAL receipients of the benefits and assistance, thus making it harder to receive any sort of aid, and when aid is gotten, it is almost always not enough.

It also stresses the education system, for when illegals send their children to school, because there is no documentation of the family in the area, enrollment is higher than anticipated, thus the funds are not there for all the children.  There are crowded classrooms, not enough text books for everyone, and the school has to use the money alloted for other expenses to these individuals that have not contributed to the funds to begin with.

Believe it or not, the negatives are much more costly to the US than the benefits of having illegal immigrants in the nation.  THAT is why citizens of this nation have such an issue with them being here.  And until the selfish individuals that are illegally coming here and basically thumbing their noses at our laws and processes realize what they are truly doing to this nation, it is going to continue to be something that the citizens of this nation complain about and want fixed.

  18. It doesn't effect me. I have always said if we had wanted to stop it we would have, people act like 12-13 million illegals popped up at once. And we never complained when we were piling up all that money.

  19. It's a complex issue.  The American work force gets cheap labor, which is needed to compete with other countries (apparently).  The citizens pay for it mostly in increased taxes.  It doesn't benefit the average US citizen in any way, although the government either has no idea how to combat illegal immigration or has made no effort to do so because it somehow lines their pockets.
