Not necessarily. Sometimes it is the same as infinity because they both never end. Sometimes, though, indefinite just means you don't know how long something goes on for, and infinity always means never ending, so while  indefinite can mean infinity, this is not always true, and depends on what you are talking about. (e.g. free to play indefinitely,)
