  5. Absolutely No. Very few  countries in the world have as much adversaries on its borders, as India has. Here, even the friendly nations turn into foes. All are standing with drawn swords openly or hidden. On top of it, the enemies have ganged up against us. India needs to have its acts together and become tough. The kind of bickering among the political parties over spoils of power is really weakening the fabric of this country and the enemies are emboldened with the kind of tamash going on in the country.

  6. We are living in an age where pressing a button can destroy countries and cities across the continent. There is no meaning of spending for defence.

    When US can give us technology, it can safeguard the security also. Many countries do not have their military. But they keep some US forces. The presence of US forces or the name is enough for country's seciurity.

    We lose 7 soldiers per day without any war. The border is also not secure. All the weapons, spys and explosives regularly reaching Indian soil now. A small Gargil war killed our 3000 soldiers and rendered the whole nation begging to people for funds.

    I don't think that having neighbors like China, Bangladesh and Pakistan India needs to cut their defense budget.

    What India can do is spend the money wisely and stop some scams to get more capable with same money.
