Does intel celeron dual core have good or crappy performance?

According to the site, and which model you wish to choose, it has a decent clock speed and L2 Cache, however, I would like a 1MB cache instead. Also, it depends on what you want to do with the computer and what its main purpose is altogether. If its used for simple things like entertainment purposes (movies, internet, e-mail, etc) then it's definitely a good deal. However, I would get something different for gaming purposes (do not get the E1200 model, it sucks).

Its a good CPU, not a great one. If you can, go for something else.
