Does inuyasha ever wear the locket kagome gave him?

he never wears it, he just kept it in his pocket or any form of clothing slots in his clothes, he said it might strangle him when its accidentally pulled.

He wears the locket during the second movie. Its not really clear whether he took it off after that or not. But you never see it again in (like in scenes where hes shirtless and being bandaged). So I'm supposing he doesn't wear it after that. But he may still have it, like in his sleeve or something. I mean ever wonder where he pulled that handkerchief from in the first movie?  :P
