Does islam forbid teenage love?

I'm catholic and fell in love with a muslim from France and I'm from Ireland. He won't reply to me but he writes poems in french referring sometimes to me and his religion as he is a muslim. PLEASE Help. From Maria(Alison's Sister)

  3. No, in actuality, islam encourages marriage at a younger age, and 2 teenagers getting married is completely fine.

    The problem being that today, no one is really able to settle down and afford a house/family until well into their 20s.

    The other problem is that a man can't even be in the same room alone with a women unless they are married, let alone kiss and get more intimate.
