  1. not really..when I'm eating, I'm eating, not paying attention to how other people are eating.

  2. YES we were just talking about that at lunch.. My mother also "slurps", she says it makes the soup taste better! lol, dumbest thing I've heard!

  3. oh god how not my grandpa is anoying he eats like a pig he can`t chew with he`s mouth closed and he sorouuuuuches when he eats soup god and i always have to eat when he`s eating

  4. No, people are perfectly free to enjoy their food and drink in a different way and I personally think dining etiquette, like eating soup from the side of a table spoon is a load of twaddle. I love a good soup and I personally like to pick the plate up and drink it when at home by myself to enjoy the full richness of the taste. But that methodology is apparently "not done" if you are in a restaurant. Why the h**l not?

  5. Yes noisy eating drives me crackers there is no need for it, its offensive!

  6. Yes and i am one for slurpping tea.

  7. A coffee connoisseur will slurp. Thus you mixes the coffee with air . The result : still more pleasant taste.

    A suggestion : do in your coffee some grains salt.

  8. oh definately, ity has got to be one of the most annoying sounds ever, and slopping, in hate wen people slop wen they eat their food, so annoying, dont u just agree?

  9. THEY have to do something with there mouths now that they are not allowed to put a cigarette in it.

  10. A little but in some cultures slurping is a sign of respect and appreciation for the meal.

  11. It's annoying but I'm guilty of doing it myself sometimes... I'll always make an effort not to but sometimes I can't stop the annoying sounds.!

  12. Haha Spanish People do this alot but its annoying.

  13. If it's excessive i think it's a bit much but someone else said that it's a compliment to the chef if they do it so i guess it differs from person to person. if they are being obnoxious about it i am often tempted to smack em' (;

  14. its bad mannered to slurp just as it is to chew with your mouth open and clack your lips together. My sister slurps and as a result of tis we aven't had a familly meal at the same table for 25 years

  15. Yes very much.
