I went to south Florida a couple of years ago and it had temporary rains every day. Is that natural, kind of like Seattle where it will just rain for a little bit a day. I check random places on Noaa every day and there always is some rain patterns there. Just a thought i cant get off my mind. TY

  1. We can go weeks without rain. during certain times of year it rains a little bit in the afternoon each day. Right now we could desperately use some rain. All the smoke from brush fires is killing me.

I just saw on the news that is has been over a month since we have had any real rainfall. With about 3500 acres burning just south of where I live and about 75 houses destroyed, we're all hoping for rain, lots of rain.

  2. between about late may until october ish it rains nearly every day some time btwn 2 & 6 pm. but it's over after an hour. and there's some incredible lightning that comes with it. (exception being the occasional tropical system that causes rain all day)

during the dry season, there are some nasty droughts and all the yards turn brown and you ain't allowed to water them.... big tickets if you get cought

  3. Yes--Florida is considered the sub-tropics.  When it doesn't rain for a week or to FL is immediately in the threat of fires.  It's definitely a bad hair day state...

  4. It has been very dry in central and south florida for about two weeks now.
