since overpopulation is the single greatest reason for habitat destruction and destruction of natural resources? It just kind of annoys me.

  1. no i am not annoyed. I am just annoyed of parents wanting to have many kids until they can create a football team. Haven't they heard of overpopulation? I don't know why people don't want to adopt..

  2. Yes, it annoys me too.  Also that commercial where the kids are talking about germs and the kid sounds like he is reading a cue card something like "germs are about this big oh - I - don't - know."  But yes the conservation ones are particularly manipulative and insulting to our intelligence.

  3. So, if overpopulation worries so many people, who wants to be the first to volunteer to make some space?

Honestly, people, kids and overpopulation aren't the problem with these ads. I think it's the whole idea of pushing this "go green" c**p down our throats so much, they practically make everyone feel guilty for breathing.

And don't worry. :) When God decides there are too many of us, I'm sure He'll do some purging. :)

  4. They're sucking up to the whole "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!" c**p.

Yeah, anytime I see kids in stuff it makes me want to smack someone.

Especially since the pimpin' parents are probably parting on the funds on the sly.

  5. I have to say, were you not a little kid once? We are all part of the habitat destruction. Kids are the last thing that annoy me. They did not ask to be born into the world! I think it is good to have the kids in the ads, maybe it is to get their attention so they can learn about conservation.I guess i just see it differently.
