Does it annoy non Victorians that us Vico's call their teams interstaters, i personally don't, it annoys me?

Teams from other states should be called non victorian clubs, that seem fair to me, it aint the biggest problem in the world i know, but non victorians would be annoyed is my feeling, state where you live in your answer and please, non vico's dont start with the insults we normally get about arrogance etc, just give a good answer please.

(i have 2 cousins playing in the afl, one is playing for a non victorian club, kicked a beautiful 60 meter goal on the weekend too)

No it doesn't worry me up here (North Queensland) mate, but I will give you my two bobs worth

Brisbane doesn't represent Queensland, its roughly the same distance from my place to Brisbane as it is from Brisbane to Melbourne, so it doesn't matter what you Mexicans call interstate clubs as long as its understood there only representing the district not the whole state

i live in Adelaide i dont think many people are affected by it  in ade we just say wat teams they are n not wether they r from intersate.

I'm born in Sydney, lived in WA now for 20years and I think I cop more squeeze over here for bein a swans supporter than the vics do! haha..

I dont mind interstater, non-vics, mexicans were all Aussie and its all in good fun..

well i may be a vico but i never heard of someone being upset with it and personally i dont think i would be upset as long as my team was winning id be happy and i see you go for the richmond tigers so do i they did good as against west coast

No. Doesn't annoy me.

Personally I call all non Victorian teams by the name they go by..... e.g. Brisbane Lions, Sydney Swans etc. I just refer to the Vic teams as bogans.

It has never occurred to me (as a Victorian) to call the teams anything other than "interstate sides".

If teams from Victoria are called Victorian clubs why isn't a team from Queensland called a Queensland club?

The same applies to NSW, WA & SA. Why are they "non Victorian clubs" & all Victorians "Victorian clubs".

How's it goin?  I'm from SA, in footy terms we are interstaters there's nothing wrong with that. I class it as Vic & interstate teams.

Anybody who complains about, is ah...got a little to much time on their hands and oughtta get a life.

No it doesn't annoy me we call you much worse than the interstaters over here in the West as you would imagine but its all in the spirit of good old fashion rivalry.
