Does it annoy you when you are being rushed at the supermarket tills?

I hate it! its one of my pet hates. I am trying to pack, pay and organise everything with the person behind me pushing into me and giving me dirty looks. I find the same thing in banks and other shops too. Is it because of the huge rise in people being anxious and stressed?

  2. No. Unfortunately all staff are trained today to give prompt, efficient service. It's sad that they aren't trained to make a business transaction an enjoyable experience for the customer as well. It's expedience that counts in this era. I love those television programs with people milling around the general store more than a century ago. The general store and the post office were the places to exchange pleasantries and gossip with your neighbours. Since most people lived on farms, coming into town was more than a shopping expedition, it was a chance to catch up with neighbours as well. If only...

I hate being rushed period!  Its so annoying.  People act like you need to go or leave here and now.  Its so agravating its like if we dont go/leave now were all gonna die!  It just annoys me.  Yes I believe the rise of people being anxious and stressed are causing it.  I am a very mellow and patient kind of person and I just do not get along with those who are the opposite of me.  Love and Light.

  4. I guess I'm the opposite - I'd rather be rushed than have to wait.  However, if someone is physically pushing into you, you could always ask them to unhand your person, be a little less intimate, or make some other humorous remark that makes the point.  Bodily contact is over the line.
