Does it bother anyone that McCain CHEATED on his wife to be with Cindy FOR 3 years?

If he deceived his wife,  it would be crazy to think that he would not deceive people he doesn't even know (you the tax payer). I think he along with Clinton are terrible role models.

Well, for a real lesson in hypocrisy, read up on Sarah Palin's life up to the point McSame asked her to be his running mate!  The only honorable thing McSame ever did was his military service.  Since then, he's become  one of the sleaziest scumbags the nation's ever seen.

Yes and no.

I think he's a slimeball for cheating on his wife with Cindy.  Yes, indeed.

However, family values has no place in politics.  I was insulted, as a taxpayer, that my hard earned money was spent investigating Bill Clinton's affair.  Regardless of what I thought of him as a President, his extramarital affair had nothing to do with his ability to govern.  Likewise, McCain's choice of an affair has nothing to do with his ability to govern.  Nor does it speak to their character in office one way or the other.  I would think that anyone in power gets the big head and loads of women or men at their fingertips just dying for their attention.  These politicians are no different than rock stars, movie stars or the CEO of any business, temptation is prevelant.  It takes a rock solid commitment that few marriages have to keep these things from happening.  They are human.

That being said, I'm not advocating for him as president or trying to convince people to vote for Obama either.  I just think that the general public should care less about people's personal lives and more about where they stand on issues and whether or not they have the ability to lead us in both intelligence and strength.

This was so long ago.  You don't think that people make mistakes and can change?  You're telling me you never made a big mistake in your life?  Judging by how old his kids are I think mostly everyone is over it and he sends spousal support to his other wife.

I personally would never cheat and could never cheat.  And if my future husband would there would be NO reconciliation. Possibly that was how McCains first wife was... she didn't want to deal with him anymore.

Either way, a mistake a long time ago shouldn't be used to judge if a person is able to run a country.  Bill Clinton made an absolute joke of the white house and ethics and morals, yet everyone still believes he was one of the best presidents in the last few decades.

I didn't know that. I hate men who cheats on their wives and then divorces and marries another woman.  It is so sinful.  To me, this should ruin his credibility.  I know that things that people do in their personal life should not be used to judge someone, but what he did was deceitful.
