smack your derierre when you walk about your business?

Like the other day... I go in the shop... you know I work in the granite biz... and the saw guy, a tall skinny dude who is generally cool as h**l - smacks my @ss!!! Then, he has the audacity to look away, whistle and pretend like nothing happened. I couldn't believe it!

Should I sue? How would you respond to that?

Thanks

  1. That is uncalled for.  I would NEVER do that u nless the girl was my girlfriend or something.  For whatever reason he feels that he can do that and you should let him know he can't and in no uncertain terms let him know how much of a d**k he is.

  2. We all know that going around smacking each other on the behind is wrong otherwise we would all be doing this to whoever we fancied in Tesco or Sainsbury's etc! It's sexual harassment and IMO you need to inform his boss so he doesn't do this again. He is old enough to know he has to restrain himself.

How would I respond to it? I would deck the little tw@t.

  3. LOL maybe he just has a problem with his muscles, like physical tirrettes syndrome.

No one has ever smacked my ***, I'd find it a bit strange if they did. I'd probably  say 'Thanks! Was there a fly on it?'

I have only had my bottom pinched once and that was when I was 12 which is rather disturbing.

My friends and I as teenagers used to play this game at a busy place like a train station at seeing how many mens asses we could pinch without them noticing it was us.

  4. Hey fex if I'd known it was you I would have stopped for a chat ;-D only joking get one of those Tazer things they have in America and nuke his a*s next time!

  5. It hasn't happened to me, but if it did, there would be h**l to pay. I'm not a bobblehead; you can't just walk past and smack me. In your case, one smack doesn't merit an entire lawsuit, but ordering him to cut it out will do. (Unless he continues to do it after you repeatedly tell him to stop, and after you've reported him to your supervisor; THEN you can take him for a ride.)

  6. Give me a break. It sounds like he was just trying to be funny, the way he looked away and whistled like that. If you don't like it, you can ask him to stop. Tell him it bothers you. He probably won't do it again. There's no need to get the law involved over one butt-smack, especially when it was meant as a joke.

  7. well i would turn around and punch him in the face lol. yes i think u should sue him he has no right coming up 2 u and smaking u on the ***. did any1 else see it?? anyway thats sexual harasment.

  8. He was obviously trying to make a joke of it by looking away and whistling.  However, judging by your reaction, he's stepped over the line and you don't appreciate it.  Just let him know, and I"ll bet it never happens again.  There's no need to escalate the issue immediately - you can always do that later if you need to.  Also, if you do eventually need top charge him with harassment, your case will look a whole lot better if you've first tried to settle it amicably.  It prevents you from looking unreasonable.

  9. File an assault charge.

  10. I'd would probably loudly embaress him until he looked contrite enough for me to forgive him. A chav kid, about 2 or three years younger than me grabbed my 'derriere' in a shopping centre and then ran away with all his little friends, so I chased him and grabbed hold of his jacket and told him off in front of all his little friends and said I'd tell his mother how much of a little perv he was, but I let him go cause he looked scared. Maybe he will have learnt his lesson? In your case though, it generally seems like flirting, which is little different, I wouldn't take it as offensively if a guy was just by himself and not attempting to be intimidating but rather just a humouress flirt.

  11. In everyday business it's irritating and you should probably let his know you don't approve so people don't do it again... sueing would be OTT though. And make people think you over-react or cause fuss, which might affect your employment chances in the future. Just deal with it politely yourself, and if he continues regardless, make an official complaint.

  12. Report him.Seriously,it is childish immature, and could be deemed an assault.

or go upto him hold him gently on the shoulders, look seductivly in his syes.

and knee him in the balls.

  13. It is completely unacceptable (even illegal) behavior, and coming from a co-worker makes it worse.

You can choose what action you want to take, but at least directly TELL HIM it (and similar behavior) is unwelcome.

  14. To sue him is too much. But I would talk to him about that it angers you and you don't like it. It is very rude what he did, even if it was a "joke".

I am not an aggressive person, but that, makes me furious. Once a friend of mine did it in a party, in front of everybody. I turned immediately to him and with real anger (never seen before by them lol), told him "Never, ever, do that again!",  he got the message.

A couple of silent seconds inundated the room ;-)

  15. *Note to self : Do not slap Fex on the bottom*

In my social circle we have a little pat on the bum thing called giving a 'good game'
